Monday we were up and at ‘em fairly early (after a quickie detour via Starbucks and Old Navy for a few goodies) and headed to Nebraska to have a Memorial Day BBQ at my dad’s house. Of course the rest of the family came too, including Janell’s dad – a WWII veteran, what a special treat to honor him – and we had a blast! Nothing fancy or special, just lots and lots of good ‘ol fashioned burgers, beers, laughs and hugs.
