Grandparents’ Visit

Early April brought us a fun present – a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.  Driving from Nebraska, they were only able to stay a couple of days on their cross-country trek, but we all loved seeing them for even a small amount of time.

The girls were enthralled with all of the new technology Grandma and Grandpa brought with them:

and Grandma also shared an audio story with Lily on her Kindle.

The last night we went to dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack.  I had previously visited a Joe’s Crab Shack in Las Vegas on a lunch date with Elliott, but wasn’t overly impressed.  However this time we had a great time!  The crazy decor entertained the girls the  entire time and the adults enjoyed the yummy food.


One of the best moments of the evening came in the form of dancing staff and guests, which our girls loved!  Ava learned to do the Electric Slide and right before we left they did another dance, getting all three girls involved.  I think it was the highlight of our evening!
