My Thanksgiving Banner

I picked up a set of 10 pumpkin coasters at Target on clearance for $1.50 many weeks ago. 


I thought immediately that I could turn them into a decorative banner for autumn somehow.  Well, October came and went and November is almost over but I finally got it done!  Here’s how I did it:

I used jewelry making J-rings (less than $2 at Jo Ann’s) to connect the pumpkins and my meat thermometer to poke just the right size hole for the J-rings to go into.


I don’t know if you can see how the pumpkins look with the J-rings attached, but maybe you can.


Doesn’t it look nice?  I love how it turned out!
