Sometimes Procrastination Pays Off!

I will confess that I have had Ava and Lily's outgrown and out-of-season clothes piled up for a long time around here. A seriously long time. I have procrastinated so long in fact, that I discovered just now that I am actually ahead of the game (is that possible?).

I have had about three bins/laundry baskets full of clothes that needed to be sorted out and put away since before Christmas. As I actually tackled the project today (I don't know why today, I guess I just got fed up with looking at the bins piled in my bedroom) I realized that when I had put away Ava's summer clothes she was in fact wearing the size that Lily is quickly moving into. What that means is that while I was sorting clothes to put in storage I saved myself quite some time by simply leaving out the short-sleeved shirts and shorts that Ava wore last year, since Lily will be using them this year! Ah-ha!! Who knew I could put off something so long that it actually paid off? Not me!

As I always say, never do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

HA! I love Elliott's sense of humor :) Being the queen of procrastination myself, I highly approve of your "time saving" technique :) You're just lucky you have two girls that can share clothes. With my luck, our next one will be a girl and I'll have to ditch the blue stuff and get all pink stuff. And speaking of procrastination, I haven't gotten any packages from you yet...I want to see what a Milk Mate looks like :)
Love, Tracy
